Vi har skapat digitala histopatologibilder genom digitalisering av mikroskopiglas fr\u00e5n sjukhusarkiven i Stockholm. Alla bilder genomg\u00e5r noggrann kvalitetss\u00e4kring, bearbetning och normalisering. Hittills har vi genererat digitala bilder fr\u00e5n mer \u00e4n 5000 br\u00f6stcancerpatienter. Genom noggrann analys av en patolog kan en br\u00f6stcancer delas in i tre grupper: grad 1 med l\u00e4gst aggressivitet, grad 3 med h\u00f6gst aggressivitet och grad 2 som en gr\u00e5zon d\u00e4remellan. Patienter med grad 3 tum\u00f6rer har generellt nytta av till\u00e4ggsbehandling med kemoterapi. Vi har skapat en AI-modell som kan detektera cancer i bilderna och stratifiera tum\u00f6rer av intermedi\u00e4r grad (NHG2) till h\u00f6g eller l\u00e5g grad. Eftersom NHG2 utg\u00f6r 50 % av all br\u00f6stcancer kan detta f\u00e5 viktiga kliniska konsekvenser. Detta utg\u00f6r en kliniskt viktig uppgift som kan bidra till minskade gr\u00e5zoner och att identifiera patienter som har behov av till\u00e4ggsbehandling med kemoterapi efter operation. Vi har \u00e4ven genererat genspecifika modeller f\u00f6r att f\u00f6ruts\u00e4ga rumsligt mRNA-uttryck i br\u00f6stcancerbilder. Detta har potential att f\u00f6ruts\u00e4ga biomark\u00f6rsuttryck s\u00e5v\u00e4l som molekyl\u00e4ra subtyper.
