About the course

In recent years, acute stroke care has developed rapidly, especially in radiological diagnostics and reperfusion therapy. This course is aimed at residents and specialists who are interested in learning more about stroke and cerebral ischaemia. The course aims to provide knowledge about the care chain, assessment and treatment based on the latest evidence-based knowledge. The course was introduced in 2023 and was appreciated. The general assessment of the course participants on a 6-point scale was 5.5 p for the whole and 5.6 p for recommending a colleague to take the course This course round will also be free of charge.

Admission and confirmation

Course participants from Region Stockholm have priority. If space is available, participants from other regions are welcome. It is an advantage for the hospital if more than one person from the same hospital participates in the same course, as it facilitates the transfer of expertise for the implementation of new working methods that is the goal of the course.
