Advances in Intraoperative Imaging, Robotic Assistance, and Data-Intensive Approaches to Spinal Neurosurgery: A Translational Partnership at Johns Hopkins University
Lecturers Jeffrey H. Siewerdsen, PhD, Professor, Department of Biomedical Engineering and Nicholas Theodore, MD, Professor, Department of Neurosurgery, Johns Hopkins University […]
Dr. Jeffrey Siewerdsen research involves medical imaging physics with an emphasis on x-ray and CT imaging, mathematical modelling of imaging performance, image registration, model-based 3D image reconstruction and application in diagnostic and image-guided procedures.
Dr. Nicholas Theodore research focuses on trauma, spinal cord injuries, robotics and the genetics of spine disorders. Dr. Siewerdsen and Dr. Theodore are also the directors of The Carnegie Center for Surgical Innovation, a unique resource for research, education, and translation in imaging and image-guided interventions.
